My stay at Bamboo Bungalows was truly a slice of paradise. Nestled in a vibrant garden just steps from Ao Yaii beach, the ambiance was incredibly serene. The staff, especially Coco and Emmi, made me feel right at home with their kindness and attentiveness. However, I found the lack of hot water in my bungalow a bit off-putting and the pricing seemed a touch high given some amenities were lacking.

I had a great experience at Bamboo Bungalows, enjoying the friendly staff and the clean, spacious villa I stayed in. The location is beautiful, set on one of the best beaches in Koh Phayam, which I loved. However, the beachfront area was screened off due to strong winds, limiting the sea view, and I found the lack of warm water for showers to be a drawback.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a lovely stay at Bamboo Bungalows for two nights in a Junior Suite. The beach of Ao Yai is simply stunning and perfect for relaxation and exploring the island. Koko, the manager, made us feel incredibly welcome, and the staff, though limited due to the pandemic, were super nice and helpful. While our bungalow was spacious, it did feel a bit worn with some bugs and leaves from the open-air bathroom. Overall, it was a fantastic escape, despite a few minor hiccups.
